With the portable sound system of the Infaders we make a lot of noise where it is least expected. Sometimes we run into police asking us to shut our music off.
In March 2013 the Dutch government announced that policemen had to work more Sundays for the same wage. When the cops went on strike, the Infaders decided to support them in their struggle to keep their Sundays off. Less police presence on weekends should sound like a worthy cause to any sound system
So we planned a surprise party for the police. We gathered good friends, silly outfits, confetti and signs that made our friendly intentions clear. Then we called the local police station to complain about noise disturbance at our own address.
When they arrived they realized that the Infaders were scheming something so they ordered the organizer to come outside. What they didn’t realize was that he would take the sound system and his friends with him. Have you ever seen police being chased with a party?
