One of the biggest EDM brands in the world is called Don’t Let Daddy Know. Every spring, they come to Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome to host a show for 17.000 people, featuring the planet’s most popular DJs.
They use spectacular audio-visual show moments to announce the DJs. These introductions are often filmed by the fans and shared on social media.
For the second year in a row, show director Bart Straver has asked me to write all the voice over copy for these show moments, resulting in 6 short poems per show. Nothing too complex, of course.
It’s a lot of fun. Because there is some poetic license involved. And because the result of my work is blown up to epic proportions… See for yourself!
