Their initiative got worldwide attention when Al Jazeera filmed their efforts and the movie was viewed over 6 million times on facebook, triggering worldwide interest and support. With it came the opportunity to fund and set up an organisation to facilitate more workshops for refugees.
And so, Floor, Didi and myself founded the No Mad Makers. Since then, we have returned to Greece to set up more workshops and we have collaborated with Makers Unite to give work to refugees back in Amsterdam.
My responsibilities? All copy, most web development, some project management and a little mental support 😉
